There are many times when a piano is needed but a new piano just isn't the answer. Or, at least, not the answer right now. It is perfectly reasonable to consider a good quality pre-owned piano from a reputable dealer (who will stand behind it). The problem can be finding that reputable dealer. We at Bucks County Piano have made the availability of good reliable pre-owned pianos a priority. And we try to keep a wide selection of them on hand for you to inspect.

You've probably seen advertisements in the classifieds for a $400 piano and thought it might be a great value. Occasionally it is. But there are many times when that "great buy" turns out to be a lemon. And you're stuck with it.

The problem is that a piano has about 12,000 parts to it. And, for a long time, there were many different manufacturers and brand names on the market. And some pianos can last a long time and some can not. And sometimes there is only one little thing wrong with that piano that can ruin your enjoyment of it. And sometimes it can cost a lot more to fix that used piano than what you paid for it. And how do you get it home? And what happens if you damage the piano or, worse, damage the seller's home when moving it out? And just how do you know if that piano is any good at all?
